A Ray of Sunshine

As each of my three children grew up they seemed to ask the same question.  While each child asked in a different way the basis was still the same. “If they left would they be able to come back home?”  When I said yes to my youngest son, he asked why?  I thought how wonderful it would be to write my answer in a story.  That’s when I wrote “Can I always come back home?”

  1. ABC Questions – I just love this book – what a great series for young readers! I’m already sharing it with my 2 1/2 year old grandson who is learning his 1, 2, 3s and is saying letters, too! I can’t wait to work with you on the sequel!

  2. When we received “Can I Always Come Back Home” by Christine Cruz, my boys ages 4 and 8 were very excited. The bright colored illustrations combined with a fun storyline, captured my 4yr olds attention very much and brought my two boys together for a fun time of reading.

  3. I love this book! Waiting patiently to read it to my son once he arrives! Awesome author!!! Keep them comin!🙃

  4. “Can I always come back Home” I Love this book, it’s an easy read, descriptive and imaginative illustration. It’s a must have. I am adding it to my personal collection of children’s book and using as as a resource to connect with my students. A great refresher a reassurance to help those experiencing their first school year, first time away from parents or just some seperation anxiety gitters.

  5. Can I Always Come Back Home? by Christine Cruz is a great book for children and parents to read. I love how the young boy has a big imagination and no matter where he goes he always have a place called home with his mother. Also love the relationship and bond between the young boy and his mother. Every parent should have a strong caring relationship like that with their children love and cherish.
